Wow it has been a very busy birthday week for me. I celebrated my 28th birthday on May 22. The weekend before that we had a bunch of friends and family over to celebrate since most people go out of town for memorial day. We had lots of fun that included rock band, watching small children run around, food, and a cake fight with Jordie and I.
On Thursday my friend Lila sent me lovely flowers at work.
On Friday (my actual birthday) I took the day off so Dave and I could go to Animal Kingdom. That was the only park we missed on our Part 2 Orlando honeymoon in 07. It was fun. I did pretty good for being pregnant. It was cute thinking this was the baby's first trip to Disney. We saw the bug's life 3d movie, Dave rode Everest while I watched, rode the jungle safari and saw giraffes, watched the lion king show, watched the nemo musical show with puppets which was fantastic, and roamed through the different areas before we got totally soaked with rain around 2 and left. It worked out pretty good because we got everything done that we had wanted to before it started pouring so we were good to go at that point.
Then yesterday Dave took me to go buy bedroom furniture! I have really been wanting to get matching bedroom furniture and was hoping that it would happen before the baby got matching furniture.
I also got to order my new speedlight online for my camera which is something I have been really needing.
I feel very blessed and spoiled this year. Thanks to everyone who made my b-day celebration so much fun.
