A weekend of escape from reality

Dave and I had a lovely weekend in Tallahassee. The weather was cool, we enjoyed a great football game, Melanie got to play at the dog park, we got to walk the trails at Tom Brown, we saw Dave's Great Uncle, and went to church. It feels like a lovely dream that I don't want to wake up from. We miss it so much up there, but we have committed to a life here in Clermont for now. I know that our life here will be great. We have a beautiful house which is coming together nicely and I'm sure before long we will have a family to fill it. The longer we are here the more friends we will make and the more like home it will be. I have to remember that Tallahassee wasn't home to us overnight. I know there are great things instore for us. We don't have to let go of the old to obtain the new, who knows maybe we will get to go back someday or maybe even go somewhere better.

Sounds like a good weekend. Weekends don't mean too much around here...Kev just studies, lol. He did take yesterday off since he has a 4 day weekend for Veterans Day. How the photography coming along?

It is going well. I'm not as busy as you are. I'm so proud of you and all the work you are getting. I am slowing working up to it. I have two maternity shoots next weekend (one for Sara McCarthy and the other for Sunshine from high school). So it should be exciting and nerve racking at the same time. =)
